REBECCA JAMES

 

Having lived and worked in London, Rebecca James now teaches Hatha and Alignment Based Flow yoga in Hampshire and on retreats in England and France. Rebecca completed her yoga teacher training in India and has practised yoga for over twenty years. She will be using her wealth of experience to make sure you get the most out of each class giving precise instructions on alignment for each pose and offering hands-on adjustments where appropriate. Each class will focus on one area of the body, such as, hips, back or shoulders and will also include yoga philosophy, mindfulness and breath work. A reasonable level of fitness and some previous yoga experience is preferred. As a whole the classes will focus on allowing you to unwind tension in the body, calm the mind and bring a sense of balance to your whole self so you feel reconnected, rested and energised on your return home.

 

ITINERARY

 

 

A typical day would begin with an hour long morning yoga session by the pool from 8.30 – 10.00am followed by a healthy continental breakfast.

After breakfast you can go on difference excursions pre-organised, for example walks in the Venise Verte area where the villa is set along the canals, the beach, Il de Re, vineyard tour, explore local towns and markets where there are many fabulous restaurants and cafe’s for lunch or relax by the pool.

There will then be another yoga session from 5.30 – 7.00pm before a nutritious gourmet meal prepared by your hosts Emily and Matt.

After supper you can choose to read, chat with friends or round off your day from 9.30 – 10.00pm with a guided meditation or deep relaxation before bed.

None of the activities are compulsory so you can choose how you would like to spend each day.

Overall the holiday is very relaxed and is a chance to unwind whilst exploring different aspects of your yoga and meditation practice with an experienced teacher in a beautiful and nurturing environment..

 

 

DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS OF THE COURSE

 

The 5 day course will run over a long weekend - June 7th-11th - with clients arriving on late afternoon of Wednesday 7th of June and leaving on the morning of Sunday 11th of June.

Here is a sample menu. We use local, seasonal, fresh produce as much as possible, subject to availability. Vegetarian and vegan menu options are available too. A glass of wine or two is also included!
